Honey... today I want to cook something special for daddy~

Squid a.k.a Sotong 

I can't remember which day during the school holiday... I was watching TV with dad. And we saw this lady cooking squid... ermm... it's actually a cooking contest called 邻里厨王. All the contestants were trying to cook the best squid dishes. Unfortunately her dish 《花开富贵》didn't won the contest. But I like her presentation though^_^ 

So, today I'm trying to cook this squid lala~

I can't find the big fat squid anyway. So, my flowers are pity small @_@

And, dad suddenly said he wants to go out for mahjong! OMG! I haven't really finish cooking lol 

I knew i couldn't make it in time le... immediately when he said that, i quickly cook the chicken first.

Chicken thighs & chicken wings

I bought this Malays style herb paste from the aunty clerk in my office. The taste really not bad! I dunno what is the name of this dish. Definitely not rendang bah~ Rendang is darker in colour.

She said just marinate the chicken and cook it. Can either fried it, microwave or cook with gravy also can. RM20 for 4 chickens. I have divided the paste into 4 smaller portions and will give a portion to Mong Ting someday later when I meet her again.

After marinated for 30 mins

After a lil bit of garnishing... Tada...

Eat more veggie is good!

Now the squid...

Cut like how the aunty did, boiled it and it will form into blossoming flowers in a split of a second ^_^

Wow so nice ^_^ love them ^_^

I forgot to make ice cube last night, so I omitted the freezing part lol sorry aunty :p
