Omu-rice

Honey, told you... don't underestimate me lorr...
Omurice
My challenge for today is this ---> Omu-rice ^_^
sounds like omelette rice, yes you're right!

Wanted to eat this actually the other day when we went for Ichiban but they don't have @_@

Nahhh... you try type "omurice" on YouTube and you will see a lot of shifuS showing how to make this juicy omelette! I made a conclusion myself after watching a few of the videos, that is you just have to stir and stir very quickly and flip it over very very quickly before it's fully cooked... and it's done! Ohhh thinking of it already make me love it so much!

So, today I'm going to make this omurice, thanks to the leftover rice yesterday lol

So, here are the simple ingredients.
For the omurice, the fried rice i think it's up to own preferrence but if i m not mistake the Japanese cook it with tomato sauce? and there is also a special savory sauce that wil be poured all over on top of the juicy half-cooked omelette but it seems that you don't like it... cause yesterday when i showed you the video u said :
Eeee... how come so wet?

So, I assume u don't like the sauce.
And so, I didn't use that seafood spicy sauce by Amore as in the picture. And I don't have any ingredients at home to make the sauce anyway.

pinky fried rice?
Half way cooking, I m really beh tahan the so called naked and boring fried rice with just some crab meat ONLY? Blame on me, I'm lazy to go out to buy vege & meat @_@ but anyway it's already 3.30 in the evening when i decided to cook this.
And can you imagine the hot sun out there?

So, I went to dig the ham out from the freezer and yeah i use them straight away hahaha

Frozen ham
Cut it and you still can see the ice
The unfinished fried rice... looks boring isn't it?
Turn off the heat, transfer the rice back to the plate and cook the ham, right from the start,
Love the colour - pinkish!
Cook the ham
Looks like worms?
give it a good stir
Okay, now the fried rice is ready! Look at it... so nice!
take a bowl of rice
transfer it to a plate like this
actually u have to press a bit the rice in the bowl so that it will give u a firm bowl shape, unfortunately this one is loose
the Japanese shaped their fried rice in this way
a bit oval like that

Now.... the omelette \(^_^)/
Beat two eggs
Sorry, I can't take any pic after that hahaha

The eggs were all cooked in like
just 10 seconds?
 WTH!!!
It's just too fast!!!

And it's fully cooked by the time I realised that and it's already a
98% cooked omelette
haihhhh
Sad, the omelette was not rolling juicy at all @_@
Tried to cut open the omelette and huh, worst ever half-cooked omelette
Time for decoration lalalala...
Honey, remember the chilli sauce from Mac Donald that we ate last night?
Haha here you go...
@_@ no eye see @_@
The pan were preheated too long, i think that's why. And i used medium heat which was obviously too hot for the eggs @_@

Second attempt.
This time I didn't preheat the pan. In fact it had cooled down after all the decoration time and the camera time and after all those pictures i took... the pan had very much colded down so when I poured in the oil & eggs, with a super low heat (scared that it might get cooked very fast like the first one)...

... this time, it didn't really get cooked @_@!!!
Huh... took about a minute like that for the pan to get heated and then only the egg started to cook.

But then again... it's so fast and within a few seconds
it's already a...
95% cooked omelette.
Sian~
95% cooked omelette frid rice

My third attempt.
After the first and second experience, now I know.
Preheat the pan and the oil, of course.
Turn to very low heat, a must.
Then pour in the beaten eggs and stirrrrrrrrrrr very quickly and flip...

Sorry, i couldnt flip like a pro hahahahaha
so it becomes like this lol

Again a 90% cooked omelette~
Anyway, it's the Best of the day!

《注定失败》

Honey, I must admit that I can't make this like a pro
hahaha
