Delicious chicken chop

最近在追韩剧《美女的诞生》
故事是说到一位胖女人,因为老公背叛 & 老公家里人的嫌弃 + 虐待,差点死掉了。

最后跑去整容变成了大大大美女~ 美到。。。老公都认不出是她!! 还爱上了她呢!! 这男人是什么烂东西嘛!

胖女人好可怜哦~ 我想,只有像我酱胖的人 才会懂得胖女人的痛苦吧~ Anyway, 不可以怪胖女人,是我自己懒惰@_@

追了两天两夜,第3天就不能看了 awww....

今天睡到1点半起床,决定了,要煮昨晚在fb看到的:

Honey asked me: 今天又买了多少钱?
我说: $14++ 而已咯~
还有一包肉粹还用不到呢~ 收在冰箱
所以,应该是$11 才对 :p
老公: 真的酱便宜吗? 昨天才把8块,今天才14块@_@
真的啦~ 
简单的marinate 一下
Dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame sauce, cooking wine & salt

After that, I need to 处理 the chicken chops liao. I normally will throw all the skin, but today since I'm going to pan fry them, I think eat skin once in a while should be ok bah haha

According to the chef, in order to keep the chicken chops stay flat when cooking, we have to slit those meat & cut it's vein? So that it wont crumble later? Or it's the muscles? Or tendon? Aiya I anyhow cut de lah. .. as long as it becomes bigger piece & flatter according to the video.
But, it will help to cook faster, I think.

Then, I added a bit of water, a bit of cooking wine, a bit of light soy sauce.... a bit a bit like two tablespoons bah
and sugar. Let the gravy cook until it thicken, maybe 2 or 3 mins and then settle liao!
Voila~

今天除了鸡肉是煎的不健康意外,另外两道都是steamed的,OK lar 算健康啦~

Mummy's porridge secret revealed

Last week, 2 out of 4 people at home were sick. So, mummy cooked porridge.

Honey, mummy's porridge is the BEST!!!
I always want to learn from her how to cook that. Finally I got the chance today! Because it's sch holiday and I'm at home~
Mummy's porridge
Her ingredients are:
1. Two cups of rice
2. Minced meat, marinated with light soy sauce & sesame oil.
3. Sliced pork, marinated as above. Add two tablespoons of corn starch so that the meat can be softer, why ah?
4. Spring onion 
5. Three chicken stock cubes 
( ***Btw, I don't recommend this ahh haha :p )


原来, the secret of mummy's porridge is that she cooks everything in just 20 mins ONLY! No wonder la, I always so loso and cook and cook... up to one hour until my porridge all become 烂烂 @_@

OMG!!! She just.....
1. Cook the rice with half big pot of water.
2. After 10 mins, add the chicken stock cubes.
3. At 15th min, add all the meat & meats.
4. At 20th min, add the spring onion.
5. Then turn off. Settle.

Wow~ unbelievable! 
Mummy's porridge
一碗看似简单 如此普通的《粥》,我却怎么煮也煮不来...
原来, 是那么容易~ 还真的要谢谢mummy教我煮粥~

So, I copy her recipe and modify a bit then become my
《Chicken Porridge》

OK here are the ingredients i used.
多多料粥
Dried Scallops, sliced ginger & red dates
Sliced shitake mushroom
All are boneless thighs & chicken wings drumlets
我家老公啊,像个3岁小baby一样 @_@
不可以煮有骨头的鸡 不然就要鸡腿or鸡翅膀 
他才看得懂 才不会咬到 @_@
不可以煮有骨头的鱼 怕他吞下去

Enoki mushroom
I learnt from dunno where, this technique to cut and throw the "dirty roots" straight away so that they wont mess around. Also, it's easier to wash the Enoki mushroom while they are kept inside the plastic bag.

the chicken soup first
These are my choices of 调味料,instead of the chicken stock cubes
I think, these are healthier bahh~
And salt, don't forget. 
So, I cooked the chicken soup first & let it simmer in low heat for about half an hour. 

Meanwhile, in a seperate pot, I cook 2 cups of rice with a lot of water. This is to make porridge lol
Why a separate pot? Because I dunno my porridge "jadi" or not, so better cook separately if not spoilt my chicken soup later hahaha

After 10 mins, the rice turned into porridge hahaha. Well, what else it can turned into if not porridge LOL
I then transferred the porridge into the chicken soup and tada.....

My porridge no more 烂烂 liao yeahh



Wonder if you guys can see the porridge or not? Haha

Other than porridge, I also cook a bonus dish for you today haha

《Egg with tomato》

Please bear in mind, that this is 蛋炒蕃茄 
NOT 蕃茄炒蛋 OK 
with the correct mindset, then only you will get the desired texture hahaha
LOL

Get ready the ingredients
煎3粒蛋,不要 tok 碎
因为家里没有onion, so I used spring onion leaves 也一样 I think
你看,干干的。把蕃茄倒入。
炒炒一下,最重要不要 tok 碎鸡蛋 @_@
Add some tomato sauce
怕蛋不够,有打了一粒蛋加进去
好了~ 看到多多蛋了吗?
